In this unit we are focusing on human transformation and what is considered beautiful through an experimental approach of the human body. No restrictions through design thinking- free thinking, look beyond casual beauty.

Low tech prosthetics (ways for human enhancement)
The unit definitely has much more freedom than others and is consists of quite deep, unusual conversational topics which are very interesting.

I don't personally have a lot of experience with special effects but I've always been intrigued about how its applied and created on films or music video's I've seen. I'd say I'm not that confident when it comes to the application of make-up, on myself I can always produce something I'm happy with but being in a class with people who have some or a lot of experience is quite daunting. So I'm hoping to become much more confident when applying my look to a model and to also push out of my comfort zone when creating my final pieces as I believe I am able if I try!
